FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGNS

The Calling (Flagship Fundraiser)

SPRING 2018

The Calling is a four-day annual mountain snowmobiling festival in Revelstoke, British Columbia. The Calling's premier event is the most exclusive, high-profile, backcountry cross country race in the world.

Interactive motorized user avalanche awareness event with fundraiser and social.

Calendars available for purchase online, at outreach tours and trade show booths.

RESEARCH PROJECTS

PROJECT COMPLETED

International Snow Science Workshop

FALL 2016 | $3,750

Attend International Snow Science Worshop to present research projects collaborated with Thompson Rivers University. Cost includes registration, air and 4-days accommodation.

Skanke Pit 2.0

Determine how motorized users impact the snowpack by conducting a Snowmobile Pressure Bulb study and develop Inconsequential Slope Stability Testing procedures.

Otrovox Transceiver Checker

Work with motorized user clubs, the Otrovox program and additional stakeholders to establish transceiver checker signs in high-use areas around British Columbia.

Tradeshows

FALL 2017 | $2,900

Booths at Saskatoon, Edmonton and Vernon Snow Shows. Cost includes banners, print media and tent.

 

 

Ambassador Outreach Series

WINTER 2017| $2,400

Develop 12 video clips on motorized travel in the backcountry to be released bi-monthly throughout the winter. Cost includes filming and editing fees.

 

 

Fall, Winter and High-School

Outreach Tours

Tours in Western Canada in select locations with strong snowmobiling populations to: access local stakeholders and suppliers, distribute/showcase printed and digital media, conduct educational presentations and gain content for Lessons Learned Series.

 

 

Ambassador Program

Sponsor training and mentoring of persons who wish to establish a career in motorized mountain sports through the Ambassador Program. Ambassadors provide content for print and video media and make appearances at outreach tours, presentations and events. Upon contract completion Ambassadors are recognized as highly-trained and qualified instructors and athletes in the motorized sport community.

 

 

Print and Digital Media Campaigns

Generate a variety of print and digital media to be distributed/showcased at evets, outreach tours, presentations, social media and additional outlets.

 

Produce 4 video series including:

 

Lessons Learned Series: short videos of people’s close call experiences,

 

The A Team Edits: 45-minute video with riding clips and educational messaging,

 

Critical Thinking Series: video clips of The A Team Edits to focus on snow analysis and risk management,

 

Vlogs: short vlogs conducted by Ambassadors with shot lists and riding conditions.
